| Personality of the Year’ Awards 2010 - GALA DINNER |

The twelfth annual Gala Dinner and ‘Personality of the Year’ Awards took place on Wednesday 26th May 2010 at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane. The event, organised by the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain with the support of the Embassy of Brazil, saw over 400 members and guests in attendance on the night, the most successful in the event’s history. The recipients of the prestigious awards were two of the most influential and key figures in the world of global finance - Mervyn King, Governor of the Bank of England, and Henrique Meirelles, President of the Central Bank of Brazil. Guests of honour were Nigel Lawson, Baron Lawson of Blaby, and Jorge Paulo Lemann, both of whom also presented the awards.
